The Nineplus Retro Fullsuit in 3/2mm - now in its 16th year and this represents the most durable, warm, flexible and custom fit possible using the worlds best neoprene imported from Japan, Yamamoto. 2015 Update includes a small adjustment to the external underarm panel by changing it to Nylon to prevent external underarm rubbing. Smooth-skin is the warmest and lightest material for surfing - period. It neither absorbs water nor allows the wind to pass through it. That means you are lighter and you dont use energy pulling water around thats trapped in your wetsuit nylon. You cut through the water like a seal and any sunshine warms the surface of the neoprene as it stays dry - all the time. Genius? Not really - its the original way of making wetsuits before people tried to turn them into a profit making form of brand advertising. Simple, Warm & Smooth. Material: Yamamoto 39 / High stretch Nylon with 6006 stretch in crotch, under arms and back of knees. Temperature: 55 F.
